Lung cancer is the most common cancer for both women and men with over 2,5 million new cases annually. Notably, the mortality of lung cancer is very high due to its late detection and it is still increasing in China, representing 37% of the cases and 39% of deaths globally. In 2023 AQ Biotech and research teams from the Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center started the “Biosaliva” project with the aim to detect lung cancer in its early stage.
